When the world sleeps,
in peace and delight...
I talk to this moonlight
I enchanter the lullaby
of this mighty moon
Trying meanwhile to wrap
myself In this dream's cocoon!
If this is a dream
then why Am I awake
I got to sleep right now
my pain would be at stake!
Cos In a few moments
the stars would take away
this only friend of mine.
Moonlight too would leave me astray!
Hard to face myself
harder to face you!
Leave my world of dreams
before your falseness flews!
Enough of your fake nests
your glow & shine is a cheat
You betray with false promises
and make me fall in your feet!
I hate you moonlight
but you are all I have!

and hi Dreamer well ans to ur qes whether personification is a corect title to go by or not may be yes ...well exact clarification can be given only by pulkit but personification signifies an artistic representation of an abstract quality or idea as a person which very well goes by the post ........

@ dreamer - as u already might be knowing .... the application of personification... it goes like this...
A description of an inanimate object as being a living person or animal as in: "The sun shone brightly down on me as if she were shining for me alone". In this example the sun is depicted as if capable of intent, and is referenced with the pronoun "she" rather than "it."....

which is then continued in para 5 and 6 in direct phrase .... :)
so this goes for the justification of the title...
actually it is not purely just personification...
chracterization is also involved...as I am actually reffering to a person involved in my life by the title os moonlight :)

awesome pulkit, i loved the contrast in the beginning and the ending. nice composition, and i have personally felt the moon light as a ray of hope,for its always sure that the moon is going to be there and the light is also goin to be there, bright after its dark..
