An Old Dream rewitnessed

Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning. - Gloria Steinem!

Saalon k baad aaj phir
wahi sapna dekha!

Imaginations running wild
as I swore to an old dream again
noticing the rashes of some broken ones
I collect smiles from drops of rain

I am changing
and so is the world around me
I crawl on my foots
and tries to run on knee

I am moving ahead
you are holding my hand
taking me away
from where I stand

stealing my crunches
and giving me memories
memories of the galaxies
memories of the same old dream!

Aaj Phir wahi sapna dekha
Aaj phir main sapney mein gum sa tha
anjaani si bheed k beech
Khud k saath khada
Khud pe muskura raha tha!

Saamne aap they aur aapki hatheliyon mein mera wahi purana sapna tha!

AAAAAAAH! Gosh! Somebody is turning poetic in big way, Somebody I know, Somebody within me!...
Dreams are what makes life worth living, till the time they jingle...they merry around you, they give you a soul to breath, a motive to live, a moment to smile in the midst of nowhere! Holding on to them was the only way I knew to lived, I left them for a while... But all of a sudden they seem to be dwelling my nights again.
Creeping from behind the shoulder and whispering the things I had been so damn afraid of confessing! They tell me to go ahead on the path of love. They tell me to move aside from the puddle of crap that lingers around me... But most of all... they force me to move back to that same old dream!

Last night I noticed myself smiling... I was smiling at no where, I was smiling in my sleep!
I waked up the next morning... it was a dull day! Lazily scratching my jaw from that sleaky little bachon wala toothbrush, I stopped in middle...I gazed at myself! I ran to my table...and jotted the above verse!
I went back to the bathroom, I splashed water on my eyes... I winked while brows wet my eyelashes, I smiled again!

PS - “Dreams pass into the reality of action. From the actions stems the dream again; and this interdependence produces the highest form of living.”
“The dream was always running ahead of me. To catch up, to live for a moment in unison with it, that was the miracle.”
- Anais Nin!

Beautiful poem. Saamne aap the aur aapki hatheliyon mein mera wahi purana sapna tha..these 2 lines are beautiful. Why do our dreams dont change why they are always in someone else's hands.I know these are stupid questions.
The poem is good and the combination of english and hindi also looks different.you are certainly turning a poet.

The day i stop dreaming, it appeared to me as if i'm paralyzed.. So really we should continue dreaming nd also should try our best to turn those dreams into the reality.
Really Well written.
Best Wishes!!
